‘Twas the night before Christmas when all through the house,
Nothing was stirring, not even a mouse.
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that a few bore Te fit-Tazza ware.
If you had to distil the memory of Malta in the minds of most Maltese, you’d be able to divide it into two categories. Panoramas and streetscapes still found today which make Malta, Maltese and objects which evoke feelings of nostalgia and a longing for times gone by. Based on this, our first collections were what we like to call Series 1 and the Elements collections.
Series 1 are larger prints which deal with the natural and architectural identity of our beloved homeland. We like to think of them as windows into the Maltese soul.
The Elements are a bitesize collection of objects that are not only visually associated with Malta, but which are laden with nostalgia for anyone who’s lived for a time here. We like to think of these as windows into the Maltese character.
